TERMS AND CONDITIONS

By using this website and/or placing an order, the Customer confirms having read, understood, and accepted these Terms and Conditions without reservation.

These conditions are established between Pessoas & Gravuras Unip. Lda., tax identification number 514 028 327, located at Av. Nossa Senhora da Saúde, Nº 91, R/C Esq, 3830-468 Gafanha da Encarnação, Portugal, email: simcarimbo@gmail.com, hereinafter referred to as “Sim Carimbo”, and any individual or legal entity wishing to make purchases through the website www.simcarimbo.com, hereinafter referred to as “Customer”.

1. Purpose and Scope

These terms aim to define the general conditions of sale between Sim Carimbo and the Customer, from the moment the order is placed to the delivery of goods.
They govern all necessary steps for the order process and ensure that the transaction proceeds accordingly.
By placing an order, the Customer fully and unreservedly accepts the Online Sales Conditions, prices, and products listed in the transaction.

2. Orders

Orders must be placed online at www.simcarimbo.com.
Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will only be processed on the next business day.
All customized items are produced based on the files provided by the Customer when the order is placed.

2.1 Materials for Order Production

2.1.1 Files
Files should be vector-based, in a single color and without gradients. We accept AI, EPS, and PDF formats.
If these are not available, a high-resolution PNG or JPEG can be submitted.
Low-quality images or files requiring graphic work may incur additional costs, which will be communicated after file review.

2.1.2 Graphic Design Work
If the Customer does not accept the additional design or file preparation costs, the order will be canceled, and the total amount refunded.

2.1.3 File Submission
Files can be uploaded via the "Upload Area" on www.simcarimbo.com or sent to simcarimbo@gmail.com, clearly identifying the corresponding order.

2.2 Customized Product Specifications

2.2.1 Custom Stamps
Stamps are engraved on rubber and mounted on wooden bases.
All stamps are marked on the side with the "Sim Carimbo" brand.
They can be cleaned with water or alcohol. Proper cleaning is recommended immediately after use.

2.2.2 Self-Inking Stamps
Engraved rubber mounted on a self-inking stamp body with integrated ink system.

2.2.3 Embossing Stamps
Made from PLA (a bio-based polymer) and mounted on a wooden base.
Due to the production technique, a minimum line thickness of approx. 0.5 mm is required.

2.2.4 Printed Items
Printed items are customized using the material and characteristics listed on the product page.
Minor differences in color or placement may occur.
You may request a printed sample for approximate color confirmation at an additional cost.

2.3 Mockups and Approval

For personalized products, production will only proceed after the customer approves the digital mockup.
The mockup will be sent to the email associated with the order.
Please review all elements carefully, especially text.
Once approved, any changes require the purchase of a new product.
For generic (non-customized) stamps, the design shown on the product page is final.

2.4 Stamp Sizes

The dimensions shown refer to the stamp bases, which define the maximum size of the rubber engraving.
The engraving will always be slightly smaller to fit the base.
This size relationship will be visible in the mockup provided.

2.5 Stock and Brand Substitutions

If a purchased product is out of stock and cannot be restocked in time, we may send a similar product from the same category but from a different brand.

3. Delivery

3.1 Production

Our standard production time for custom stamps is 4 to 6 business days after order confirmation and mockup approval.
For orders with the urgent production option, the timeframe is 1 business day, except during peak demand periods or unforeseen logistical circumstances.

The daily cut-off time for production is 11:00 AM (Portugal time). Orders confirmed after this time will enter production on the following business day.

If we are unable to meet the stated production deadlines, you may cancel your order and receive a full refund.

3.2 Shipping and Delivery

Orders are typically shipped within 24 hours after production is completed, unless delayed by the courier service.

Deliveries are primarily handled by DPD, with registered CTT or TNT used in special cases (e.g. large packages or remote locations).

Estimated delivery times:

  • 1 to 2 business days within mainland Portugal

  • 3 to 5 business days for the Portuguese islands

  • 2 to 10 business days for international shipments, depending on the destination

If you are not available at the time of delivery, the courier will attempt to contact you to reschedule for the next business day or redirect the package to a pickup point.

Once your order has shipped, you will receive a tracking code by email. If you do not receive it, please request it via email at simcarimbo@gmail.com.

3.3 In-Store Pickup

Customers may choose to collect their order at our physical location:

3.4 Shipping Destinations

We currently ship to:

  • Mainland Portugal and islands

  • European Union countries

  • Other international destinations (on request)

3.5 Unforeseen Circumstances

3.5.1 We reserve the right to adjust the shipping cost, with prior notice and customer consent, in the event of unforeseen situations such as weight miscalculations or additional courier charges (e.g. express delivery, palletized shipments, hard-to-access areas, etc.). The customer may choose to cancel the order and receive a full refund.

3.5.2 Sim Carimbo is not responsible for delays caused by the courier services, as these are outside our direct control.

4. Payment

Choose your preferred products and add them to your cart. Once you've finished your selection, click “View Cart” or the cart icon at the top right corner of the online store to proceed to checkout. Please ensure all required information is completed carefully, especially the delivery address.

Sim Carimbo offers the following payment methods:

  • Manual Payment: At checkout, you may select the "Manual Payment" option to access Multibanco or MB Way.

  • Multibanco: When this method is selected, Sim Carimbo will generate the necessary reference codes for payment via Multibanco (by selecting “Payment of Services” at the ATM). You can complete the payment securely at any ATM or through your online banking platform.

  • Bank Transfer: You may also pay by bank transfer to the account of Pessoas & Gravuras Unip. Lda. (owner of Sim Carimbo). Banking details will be provided at the end of your order.

  • MB Way: This is a quick and secure system that allows instant payments via smartphone, tablet, or PC. Payments should be made to +351 926 103 657.

  • Credit Card: Payments via credit card are processed securely through Wix Payments, a PCI DSS-compliant platform (one of the highest international standards for card payment security).

All orders require full prepayment to be confirmed. To expedite processing, you may email proof of payment (bank email, scan, or photo of receipt) to simcarimbo@gmail.com.

5. Prices

All prices are in euros (€) and include VAT at the applicable legal rate in Portugal.

Prices may change without prior notice and may be subject to promotions or special pricing under specific terms.

If an error occurs in the pricing of a product in your order, we will contact you by email. You may then choose to proceed with the adjusted amount or request a full refund.

6. Contract Cancellation

After receiving your order, you have a legal right to withdraw from the purchase contract within 14 days from the day you (or a third party designated by you) take physical possession of the goods.

To exercise this right, the following conditions must be met:

a) Items must be returned in proper condition, inside the original packaging they were delivered in.

b) Custom-made or perishable items are non-returnable, unless there is a defect or a clear error on the part of Sim Carimbo.

c) For refunds on items purchased under special offers or promotions, only the amount actually paid will be refunded.

d) Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility, unless Sim Carimbo acknowledges an error or defect.

e) Returned items must be sent to the address listed in Section 7, within 14 days from the date the order was received. The return date is considered the postmark date on which the return was shipped.

In the event of contract cancellation and return of products under the conditions outlined in Section 6, Sim Carimbo commits to refunding the customer within 14 days from the date the cancellation request is received. The refund will include the value of the returned products, as indicated on the sales invoice, with no additional cost to the customer.

If any item is returned incomplete or not in perfect condition, no refund will be issued, and the product will be returned to the customer. Refunds are only processed once product condition is confirmed.

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

8. Warranty, Manufacturing Defects, Malfunctions and Complaints

8.1 General Products:

Warranty activation procedures vary depending on the brand. These instructions are provided with the products and must be followed in case of malfunction or manufacturing defect. Please retain your purchase invoice throughout the warranty period.

8.2 Complaints:

To report malfunctions or defects, please email simcarimbo@gmail.com with the following:

  • A detailed description of the issue

  • Clear photos or videos showing the problem

  • Your invoice number or proof of purchase

Once we receive your complaint, our team will review the case and contact you with a solution. If the complaint is validated, you may choose one of the following options:

  • Replacement of the product (if available)

  • Repair, where applicable

  • Refund of the affected item

9. Modifications

Sim Carimbo reserves the right to modify any content on www.simcarimbo.com at any time and without prior notice. This includes changes to products, prices, specifications, general terms, and commercial conditions.

9.1 Modifications to Completed Orders:

Requests to modify completed work will only be accepted if there is a proven error caused by Sim Carimbo.

Once the order is completed, changes to elements not included in the originally submitted files will not be accepted. See Section 2.

10. Liability

All products sold on www.simcarimbo.com comply with Portuguese law.

Products are described and presented as accurately as possible. However, Sim Carimbo shall not be held responsible for errors that may occur despite all precautions.

All of our manual-use products, such as stamps, are tested before dispatch. The final result may vary depending on how the product is used, or on external factors beyond our control, such as the type of ink or surface used. Sim Carimbo assumes no responsibility for such outcomes.

We assume that all artwork submitted for customization is the intellectual property of the customer and/or that the customer holds the necessary rights. All content reproduced on our personalized products is the sole responsibility of the customer.

We may share images of personalized products on our website and social media channels. Customers will always be informed of our intention to publish such content. If we do not receive a response, we assume implied consent. If you prefer that your product not be shown, please notify us and we will remove the image immediately.

Sim Carimbo is not liable for any damages resulting from technical failures, viruses, interruptions, or disconnections that may temporarily prevent access to the website or services.

11. Privacy and Personal Data Protection


Sim Carimbo, a brand managed by Pessoas & Gravuras Unip. Lda., processes its customers’ personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) – Regulation (EU) 2016/679 – as well as applicable national legislation.

Purpose of Processing
The personal data collected is used for the following purposes:

  • Processing and shipping orders

  • Customer communication

  • Handling information requests or complaints

  • Invoicing and compliance with legal obligations

  • Statistical analysis and service improvement

  • Direct marketing (only when authorized by the customer)

Data Sharing with Third Parties
Sim Carimbo may share personal data with subcontracted third parties, strictly for the purposes listed above, including:

  • Accounting and invoicing services

  • External marketing and communication team

  • Hosting and online store management platform

  • Payment processing services

  • Shipping providers

These entities are contractually obligated to ensure confidentiality and data security, and to process the data solely in accordance with Sim Carimbo’s instructions.

Data Subject Rights
Under the law, customers have the right to:

  • Access, correct, or delete their personal data

  • Restrict or object to data processing

  • Withdraw consent (when applicable)

  • Request data portability

By browsing the site, the customer consents to the use of cookies unless they are disabled in the browser settings.

12. Scope

These terms apply to all products available for sale on the Sim Carimbo online store.
Product availability is limited to current stock.

13. Consumer Dispute Resolution

13.1 Complaints

Customers may submit any contractual disputes directly to Sim Carimbo or through legally established arbitration or mediation mechanisms.

13.2 Dispute Resolution
